The project for the improvement of water supply system in Abbottabad was awarded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to Murshid Builders (Private) Limited in December 2018 under the Japanese Overseas Development Aid program for the Public Health Engineering Department, Abbottabad.
The contract was secured by Murshid Builders (MBL) through a tendering process and the scope included the protection of the water transmission pipe, installation of new high density polyethylene pipeline after hill cutting, repairing of encasement of old pipeline and shifting of river course to keep the water away from the pipeline.
Project Manager of Murshid Builders, Mr Saghir Shah and his team braved the extraneous terrain, extreme weather conditions of heavy snowfall, torrential rain and floods in the river to successfully complete and hand over the project to the client before the agreed deadline in a record 5 months period We Congratulate the Murshid Builders' team for this achievement and wish them many more successes in the future!
