The Project for the Improvement of Child Health Institute Karachi – Sindh Government Children Hospital was formally inaugurated on December 15th, 2016. Jaffer Group is proud to be associated with this prestigious project through Murshid Builders (Private) Limited who constructed the 200 bed state of the art facility donated by the Japanese Grant Assistance Program. This is the first Public Private Partnership program that has been supported by the Japanese Government where the Health Department Government of Sindh and Poverty Eradication Initiative (PEI) have joined hands to professionally run this facility.

M/s. Tobishima Corporation, sub-contracted the civil work of the 2 story building to strengthen the training center on Grid System Operations and Maintenance of National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC) under Japanese Grant Assistance.
The construction commenced on 14th July, 2017 and MBL completed the entire awarded scope ahead of schedule by 30th June, 2018, followed by inspection by Tobishima Japanese Consultants and NTDC till July 19th, 2018. The final handing over of the project to NTDC took place on 27th July, 2018.
The building’s covered area is 360 Square Meter (3873 Sq. ft).
MBL met the required quality of construction with a special focus on safety with zero incident at site during the entire period of execution.

The project for the improvement of water supply system in Abbottabad was awarded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to Murshid Builders (Private) Limited in December 2018 under the Japanese Overseas Development Aid program for the Public Health Engineering Department, Abbottabad.
The contract was secured by Murshid Builders (MBL) through a tendering process and the scope included the protection of the water transmission pipe, installation of new high density polyethylene pipeline after hill cutting, repairing of encasement of old pipeline and shifting of river course to keep the water away from the pipeline.
