Fertigation is a method of applying fertilizer through irrigation water by the drip system. In this system fertilizer solution is distributed evenly in irrigation. Agriculture biostimulants are substance or microorganism applied to plants to enhance nutrition efficiency, improve growth, abiotic stress tolerance and crop quality, regardless of its nutrients content. Plant Biostimulants may include bacterial or microbial inoculants, biochemical materials, amino acids, humic acids, fulvic acids, seaweed extracts and more. Biostimulants foster plant growth and development throughout the crop life cycle from seed germination to plant maturity. Biostimulants differ from fertilisers and other crop protection products because they act differently and act only on the plant’s vigour. Biostimulants do not have any direct actions against pests or disease, thus it can be considered as complementary crop nutrition and crop protection.
